Urban Vision School-wide Christmas Service Project
CVCA has a wonderful history of supporting Urban Vision’s annual Christmas with Dignity Store. Children who participate in Urban Vision programs throughout the year earn “Urban Vision Bucks” that they can use to “purchase” Christmas gifts for family members. Practical items and toys are just some of the items CVCA students can donate. For a little friendly competition, CVCA Houses and the Middle School will earn prizes for collecting items.
Students can bring their items to school Monday, December 2 through Thursday, December 5. Boxes for each of the four Houses will be in the Welcome Center lobby. Middle School boxes will be in their respective halls. Details coming soon about what items to bring.
Well done, Talking Royals!
The Talking Royals competed at Highland this Saturday. Highlights include a 2nd place finish in United States Extemporaneous Speaking by Katie Siff, a 5th place finish in Public Forum Debate by Anna Trenta and Talie Koch, and the top novice award in Public Forum Debate for the pair of Sophia Raymond and Jessica Glass.

Students may apply to enter an SOD in the Fall of their sophomore year. Information about all the Schools was presented to sophomores during lunch last week. They had the opportunity to meet each SOD head, ask questions of upperclassmen in the various programs, and learn more about each School as they consider whether they are interested in applying.
