God called me to CVCA after 17 years in pastoral ministry. He laid the foundation for this calling when I had the opportunity to help chaperone a Mterm trip to the Grand Canyon in 2022 and a Jterm trip to the Smokey Mountains in 2023. I was so impressed with the students, faculty, and staff I interacted with on those trips; I knew God was doing something special here. Christian education has played a significant role in my spiritual formation and growth as a believer. It is my prayer that my students will have a similar experience.
