Christmas Choir Concert – December 12

Celebrate Christmas with our talented students as they celebrate the birth of our Savior through song. The choir concert will be in the CVCA Chapel on Thursday, December 12 at 6:30 p.m.

Spring Muscial Information Meeting – December 13

All students interested in being part Newsies, the Royal Theatre’s Spring Musical, should plan to attend an Information Meeting on Friday, December 13, 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel.

Royal Fools Improv Show – December 13

Enjoy a fun and free night of improv with the Royal Fools. The show will be in the CVCA Chapel on Friday, December 13 at 7:00 p.m.

Ski and Snowboard Club – December 15 Deadline

Do you like to ski or snowboard? Consider joining CVCA’s Ski & Snowboard Club! We travel to Brandywine Ski Resort for five times of fun in the snow (January 6, 13, 20, 27, and February 3). Registration Information and Club details are available HERE. Register by December 15!

Choirs to Sing with Point of Grace Artists – December 15

The CVCA Middle School Women’s Chorale, Concert Choir, Gospel Choir, and Chamber Singers will sing with Point of Grace in Concert at Grace Baptist Church of Brunswick on Sunday, December 15 at 6:00 p.m.

Great Outcomes for Talking Royals

The Talking Royals competed at Tusky Valley and New Philadelphia this weekend. Nate Cook led the team with a second place finish in United States Extemporaneous Speaking, and Hudson Bazemore won a novice award for International Extemporaneous Speaking.

Exam Week Schedule

We have nearly reached the end of our first semester! Exams will be held December 17-19. The complete schedule is available HERE.

  • Students will receive instructions from their teachers on where to report for exams.
  • Please make arrangements for your student(s) to leave after exams. Supervision will be available for middle school students who need to stay until 11:45 a.m.
  • The Cafeteria will not be open these days, students are encouraged to bring snacks to eat during the break between exam periods.
  • December 17-19 Dress Code: Students may dress in CVCA spirit wear shirts, joggers and sweatpants are permitted (no pajama pants).

Snow Day Notifications

In the case of inclement weather or other emergency conditions, CVCA school closure information is posted on our website. Families will also be notified via text message and email, so please make sure your contact information is up to date in our Family Portal.

High School Girls Retreat – February 7-8

High School Girls – mark your calendars! You are invited to an overnight retreat on February 7-8, 2025 to focus on studying God’s Word and to learn about accountability, solitude, and reprioritizing our lives around Christ and His call. Details coming soon!

CVCA’s Biggest Night of the Year

Did you know that CVCA has a longstanding tradition of celebrating God’s faithfulness to His school? Did you know that there is one very special night dedicated just to this purpose? This night of fun and celebration makes the CVCA experience possible for so many of our families! The Royal Evening brings more than 500 attendees together for one great purpose – raising money for tuition assistance for so many CVCA students! Check out the Royal Evening web page HERE.

Moms in Prayer

Moms in Prayer is a great way to connect with other CVCA moms, pray for our school and community, and get engaged with the school in a deeper way. Moms in Prayer meets every Friday from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. in the Athletics Conference Room. (Meet at the Welcome Center at 7:55 a.m.) Whether you can participate one time, once a month, or every week, you are welcome. Those who can’t meet in person can receive a weekly email to pray from home. Email momsinprayer@cvcaroyals.org for more information or to join the weekly email group.

ATHLETICS UPDATES

Silent Night Game – December 13

Join us for the 4th Annual Silent Night event at the Boys Basketball Game on Friday, December 13 at 7:00 p.m.! Wear your crazy costumes and be prepared to cheer loudly when CVCA scores the 10th point! Elliot House will be giving away Christmas cookies and collecting donations to bless a local ministry.
